Location: This role will initially be based in Bradford but we're moving our office to Leeds Valley Park in summer 2026, so you'll be based there in the future. This role will also require travel to different sites.

Work type: Permanent full time working 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday between a working window of 7:30am-5:30pm.

The Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) team are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators.

The HSE Administrator role, involves maintaining and developing HSE systems, managing system administration, running reports, processing data, and generally supporting data reporting, coordinating and supporting meetings, , and providing holiday cover for related roles.

Where you fit in!

As our HSE Administrator you will;
• Administer HSE systems such as SpheraCloud, Cardinus, Lone Work and the Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Upload HSE documents and issue HSE communication documents.
• Manage, monitor and respond to queries relating to the HSE Training Matrix.
• Manage, monitor, and respond to queries in the HSE Mailbox and the Samanage (SAM) system.
• Run HSE reports for HSE team members and the Data Science Team.
• Assist with the HSE scorecard and Board Report production.
• Provide general administrative support to the HSE team, including producing meeting minutes and agendas as directed by the HSE Leadership Team.
• Coordinate Incident Review Panel and Learning Review Board activities, including booking meetings, creating agendas, producing minutes, and preparing lessons learned documents.
• Drive continuous improvement in how the HSE Team uses Performance Excellence (PEx) to enhance efficiency and performance.
• Provide holiday cover for related HSE roles.

What skills & qualifications you will need:
• Demonstrable ability to act on intuition and utilise your own knowledge is vital as the team is small and plays a crucial role in providing timely HSE support to Yorkshire Water as a whole.
• Excellent use of IT systems, such as MS Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerBI.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent organisation skills.
• Passionate about learning new skills.
• Passionate about HSE.
• Driving license as you will be required to travel to other YW sites with no more than 6 points on your licence.
