HSE Manager

The HSE Manager will lead all health, safety, and environmental functions across the Rua Ajyad project. This role is responsible for establishing and enforcing HSE policies, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and fostering a strong safety culture across all project teams. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in mega projects and high-rise developments in Makkah, with the ability to manage complex site conditions and drive continuous improvement in safety performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the project's HSE management system in alignment with international standards and Saudi regulations.
• Lead risk assessments, safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and statutory requirements across all project activities.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure safe work practices and hazard mitigation.
• Deliver HSE training, awareness programs, and toolbox talks to enhance safety culture.
• Monitor site conditions, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Review and approve HSE documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, and emergency response plans.
• Prepare regular HSE reports and present findings to project leadership and stakeholders.
• Promote a proactive approach to safety, encouraging continuous improvement and accountability.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional membership or certification (e.g., IOSH, OSHA).
• NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in HSE roles for mega projects and high-rise towers.
• Experience in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with strong knowledge of local regulations and site constraints.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Saudi nationals are preferred.
