We're Hiring: HSE Advisor

Location: Balmoral Tanks, Thurnscoe (with travel to three external sites monthly, that may or may not require overnight stay)
Department: Operations
Reporting to: Operations Manager

Are you passionate about health, safety, and environmental excellence? Do you want to make a real impact on workplace culture and safety standards? Balmoral Tanks is looking for a proactive and driven HSE Advisor to join our team.

About the Role

You'll work closely with our Operations and HSEQ teams to:

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE management systems and processes.
• Conduct and review risk assessments, ensuring robust control measures.
• Drive behavioural and cultural change across the business.
• Organise and deliver HSE training for site and installation teams.
• Lead investigations into accidents and incidents, identifying root causes.
• Carry out audits and inspections at Balmoral facilities and external sites.
• Support compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

What We're Looking For

• Qualifications: NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (essential)
• NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction (UK) (preferred/ideal)
• NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate (preferred/ideal)

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role within manufacturing or related environment.
• Strong organisational and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Resilient, methodical, and committed to continuous improvement.
