About the Role

This isn't a desk-bound role-you'll be at the heart of the business, making safety visible, practical, and real. As our Health & Safety Officer, you'll lead audits, inspections, and performance monitoring that shape how we work, helping teams operate safely, efficiently, and confidently across multiple sites. Your insights won't just sit in a report-they'll drive continuous improvement and make a real, lasting impact.

Here's What You Can Expect to be Doing

You'll be hands-on and solution-focused, turning audits, risk assessments, safe systems of work, and incident investigations into practical improvements. You will consult with managers, employees, and Employee Safety Representatives, collaborate with other H&S Officers to tackle compliance challenges, and turn safety data into actionable insights. Using a commercial mindset, you'll embed best practice, share solutions, and maintain high standards across all sites.

A Few Things About You

We're looking for a professional, proactive H&S practitioner who doesn't just spot problems-you help solve them. Confident working independently and consulting at all levels, you drive team and organisational goals while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and safety excellence. You bring proven multi-site or complex organisation experience, hold a NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent), and have expertise in audits, inspections, and risk management. A NEBOSH Diploma is a bonus.
