Apprentice HS&E Systems Co-ordinator 2026
Location: Bristol / Warwick/ Solihull

When you join us as an apprentice, you will:
We offer apprenticeships from a level 3 to a degree level apprenticeship fully funded by Galliford Try, tailored to your current education level and course entry requirements.
This role is available for a Summer 2026 start, with the possibility of an earlier start date to suit yourself and the business.
What could your day look like?
The Health, Safety and Environment Department ensures that the Group HS&E requirements of the business management system (BMS) are legally compliant, provides HS&E support in the planning of HS&E and reviews and assurers HS&E performance.
Work with the HS&E Systems & Assurance team to:
• Maintain and develop the HS&E Management System (BMS), including co-ordinating and communicating changes, updating HS&E documentation, and supporting BMS gap analysis.
• Manage HS&E digital platforms and data, ensuring accurate reporting, dashboard development, and risk-based trending to support assurance and decision-making.
• Support with the update of the Group HS&E legal obligations register, ensuring voluntary and non-voluntary requirements are tracked, reviewed, and reported appropriately.
• Support with the co-ordination of ISO certification audit requirements, including planning, evidence collation, and liaison with external auditors to maintain compliance.
• Maintain and update the HS&E Galileo area, ensuring content is current, accessible, and aligned with business needs and system developments.
As part of the apprenticeship programme you will be expected to work in and around the location advertised, with the possibility for expanding travel to other projects and locations in the future. This may include staying away from home.

To qualify for the apprenticeship study requirements, you must have eligibility to live and work in the UK without restriction and achieve the minimum entry requirements to enrol onto an apprenticeship course related to the role you are applying for.
