Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE Lead to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As the HSE Lead, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing our organization's health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with local and international regulations while promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE policies, procedures, and management systems
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
• Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and develop preventive measures
• Collaborate with management and department heads to ensure HSE compliance across all operations
• Design and deliver HSE training programs to enhance employee awareness and competence
• Monitor and evaluate HSE performance metrics, preparing reports for senior management
• Stay up-to-date with local and international HSE regulations, ensuring organizational compliance
• Manage HSE-related projects and initiatives to continuously improve safety and environmental performance
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external HSE auditors
• Promote a positive safety culture through effective communication and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health)
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in a relevant industry
• In-depth knowledge of local and international HSE regulations, including Saudi Arabian standards
• Strong understanding of HSE management systems and ISO standards
• Proven expertise in risk assessment, incident investigation, and root cause analysis
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Outstanding communication and leadership abilities to influence all levels of the organization
• Proficiency in developing and implementing effective HSE training programs
• Experience with HSE data analysis and performance metric reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
• Ability to make decisive actions while maintaining a cautious and safety-first mindset
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally to achieve HSE objectives
