We're hiring an HSE Officer to support a major technical services contract on a critical infrastructure site. The role focuses on maintaining strong health, safety, and environmental standards, supporting incident management, and promoting a positive safety culture across operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Daily support on site to maintain high HSE standards.
• Assisting with incident/accident investigations and tracking actions.
• Reviewing and improving RAMS and risk assessments.
• Supporting internal/external audits (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
• Running or contributing to site safety meetings and forums.
• Monitoring contractor compliance and permit-to-work procedures.
• Maintaining training records and ensuring staff competency.

Requirements:

• NEBOSH General Certificate (essential).
• HSE experience in engineering, facilities, utilities, or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of legislation, audits, and incident processes.
• Confident communicator able to influence safety behaviours.
• Experience with high-pressure gas or HV systems desirable but not essential.
