Educational Qualification: Bachelor in any discipline
Technical Qualification:NEBOSH International General Certificate
Minimum Experience:0 - 2 years
Minimum Roles and Responsibilities but not limited to
1. Comply with Group, MER & Local QHSE Policy & Procedures and Local legislation
2. Will be responsible for taking care of below roles and responsibilities for Sievert and support BV
when necessary
3. liaising with external health and safety authorities and ensure its compliance
4. Monitor the HSE standards in the work activities at sites, providing advices and supporting to develop risk assessment.
5. Preparing an occupational safety and health plan in the facility.
6. Monitor the progress of Group, MER & Local Objective & target and establish action plan for identified gap.
7. Ensure the timely completion of Safety Campaign, STBT & HSE Trainings as per objectives & Targets/ schedule and maintain record.
8. Participate with specialists in preparing training programs for workers, to prevent risks in the work environment.
9. Perform site visit /HSE inspections/ audits as per schedule or project requirements at site and company accommodations and maintaining records. (This activity may require to stay at site for short period of time).
10. Carry out the necessary measurements to prevent hazards in the work environment by using the appropriate equipment and record the results in the private register
11. Inspecting serious accidents, work injuries and their causes, and occupational diseases, if any,
and recording them in a special register, and preparing reports on them, including the means and preventive precautions to ensure that they do not recur.
12. Preparing guiding and warning regulations for everything related to occupational safety and health
inside the facility.
13. Inspecting vehicles at random, monitoring road safety management, assessing drivers'
competence and advising the management.
14. Provide the workers with first aid and basic health care, including transporting the injured to medical clinics or hospitals if necessary.
15. To be provide Group QHSE inductions (For all new joiners) and Safe Driving Induction (For those planning to drive the vehicle) to employees upon joining the company.
16. To ensure the HSE policies are being followed and environment protection has been adequately
complied with.
17. Express an opinion on the purchase of machinery or raw materials related to occupational safety and health within the facility and assess their suitability for the work environment.
18. Implement the Group QHSSE policies and procedure related to Health & Safety.
19. Submit 6-month report to MECA & MOMP as per the format.
20. Giving input to HSE manager for Monthly& Quarterly HSE / Eco reporting to MER
21. Take the role of HSE Manager in his absence
22. Support for Both entities as and when required / asked by N+1
22. Other required work as and when asked by N+1/s.
