Position: HSE Consultant
Location: Duqum & Misfah, Oman
Project Duration: 42 Months

Project: Development, financing, design, engineering, construction, ownership, operation and maintenance of combined cycle gas fired power generation facilities in Duqum & Misfah.

The HSE Consultant shall:

1.Supervise, daily, the health, safety and environmental performance of the EPC Contractor and its subcontractors during the construction period, against the HSEMPP, OSHA Standards, applicable Law and Good Practice, as well as all the HSE and other applicable requirements adopted by the EPC Contractor and Project Company(ies), to ensure

that the EPC Contractor's current organizational resources have the appropriate level of autonomy, competency, commitment and understanding of relevant Oman health safety and environment laws, rules and regulations.

sufficient to monitor compliance and enforcement of such rules; • compliance with HSEMPP and that the health safety and environment rules cascade throughout the Site • the contractual agreed level of record keeping as per approved HSEMP, and reporting is performed; • non-compliance findings or recommendations for improvement are followed up in line with the established health

safety and environment policies, health safety and environment plan and implemented health safety and environment procedures.

Incidents reporting and investigation management as per applicable requirements • identify breaches of any of the HSEMPP, OSHA Standards, applicable Law or Good Practice, and cease unsafe

operation immediately, as required.

2.HSEC shall monitor the EPC Contractor in all work undertaken pursuant to the EPC Contract to ensure that the EPC Contractor complies with the HSEMPP, OSHA Standards, applicable Law and Good Practice, as well as all the health
safety and environment requirements adopted by the EPC Contractor and the Project Company(yes).

3.HSEC shall monitor the EPC Contractor in all work undertaken pursuant to the EPC Contract to ensure that the EPC Contractor complies with the HSEMPP, OSHA Standards, applicable Law and Good Practice, as well as all the health,

Safety and environment requirements adopted by the EPC Contractor and the Project Company(yes).
HSEC shall monitor the EPC Contractor in all work undertaken pursuant to the EPC Contract to ensure that the EPC

Contractor complies with the HSEMPP, OSHA Standards, applicable Law and Good Practice, as well as all the health, safety and environment requirements adopted by the EPC Contractor and the Project Company(yes)

The Scope of Work mentioned above is not exhaustive; and any other incidental work related to the HSE consultancy aspect shall form part of Scope of Work.
