SDUK's brands include the Nation's favourite cheese brand Cathedral City plus other well-known butter & spreads (Clover, Country Life, Vitalite, Utterly Butterly), dairy ingredients and dairy free products.

With c.110 employees on site and sitting as part of the Plant Leadership Team (PLT), the HSE Manager will be responsible for maintaining legal compliance and achieving KPI targets for site including driving safe behaviours and continuous improvements forward.

Work pattern: Monday-Friday, 37 hours per week.

You will make contributions that matter by...
  • Being primarily responsible for HSE compliance across the site, ensuring all functions achieve their deliverables on time.
  • Developing and implementing site specific projects that align with the corporate Health, Safety, Security and Environment policies and site objectives.
  • Leading the cultural and behavioural health and safety step change program by providing appropriate training to managers and employees across the site.
  • Managing the H&S aspects of capital projects and credentials of third party contractors on site.
  • Investigating any accidents or incidents, liaising with any enforcement authorities where needed.
  • Effectively coaching and developing the HSE assistant.

You are best suited for the role if you have...
  • Your NEBOSH diploma certification.
  • Prior experience working as a HSE Manager.
  • Prior experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Demonstrable experience managing HSE projects (ie. changing behaviours on site).
  • The ability to motivate and influence others of all seniority.
