We are looking for a Mechanical Machinery Supervision Service for one of our clients with the following details:

Qualification and Experience Required:
Language Requirements
- The official working language for this assignment is French, and all technical and commercial documentation must be prepared accordingly. However, interaction with international suppliers may require handling documentation in English, making proficiency in both written and spoken English a valuable asset. Knowledge of Italian would be considered an additional advantage.
Project Context
- The client is seeking to engage technical assistance to support ongoing maintenance activities by providing mechanical supervision expertise. This role is embedded within the routine maintenance operations of the site, ensuring that all mechanical machinery-related tasks are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with site standards.
Scope of Services and Responsibilities
- The selected contractor will play a critical role in overseeing mechanical maintenance activities, with responsibilities spanning safety compliance, planning, execution, and coordination.
Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Compliance
A key aspect of the role is ensuring strict adherence to safety procedures. This includes:
- Preparing and issuing work permits
- Participating in risk assessments and safety analyses
- Managing work authorizations and approvals
- Supporting site safety preparations before work commencement
- Reviewing and providing feedback on contractors' method statements
- Ensuring all defined safety measures are properly implemented
- Promoting HSE best practices, rules, and systems throughout all project phases
Planning and Scheduling
The contractor will contribute to and monitor the planning of maintenance activities by:
- Assisting in the development and continuous updating of work schedules
- Ensuring that all tasks are completed within agreed timelines
- Organizing or participating in coordination meetings
- Supervising the progress of work in alignment with the schedule
Work Preparation
The role also involves active participation in the preparation phase, including:
- Verifying the availability and conformity of spare parts
- Requesting and reviewing quotations from suppliers
- Drafting or contributing to technical specifications and scopes of work
Execution and Supervision of Work
During execution, the contractor will:
- Ensure that work is performed in compliance with contractual requirements related to quality, safety, and cost
- Coordinate on-site activities with other disciplines
- Validate the quality and accuracy of intervention reports
- Oversee the acceptance of completed work and verify technical compliance with specifications
- Check the accuracy and consistency of cost-related documentation
Administrative Duties
The contractor will be responsible for:
- Accurately recording all activities using digital or paper-based systems
- Ensuring all documentation is properly completed and maintained
Reporting and Functional Relationships
- The contractor will report directly to the Mechanical Group Manager (or designated supervisor) and will work closely with maintenance and production teams within the assigned operational area. Additionally, the contractor will be required to submit a monthly activity report, detailing the allocation of services across the projects they are involved in.
