Purpose of the position: As Field HSE Manager, you will respond to the Line HSE Manager and be part of the ENCAR BL within Italian projects. You will be able to manage and support a team of HSE Coordinators and Advisors (ASPP).

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

The FHSEM, in coordination and support with the Division RSPP, will perform the functions of ASPP for the specific project and must therefore possess the appropriate training as required by the State-Regions Agreement.
Their main tasks also include:
  • Supports and collaborates with the PM and CM to ensure that all activities related to workplace health and safety, hygiene, and environmental protection are carried out in accordance with current regulations and with the company's HSE management system (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards). Ensuring the implementation on site of the ISO 14001 System and the ISO 45001 System and collaborating with the PM and CM in disseminating and enforcing the Company's policy and project objectives;
  • Collaborating with the PM and CM in the implementation of the Contractor S.p.A.'s POS/DVR, assisting and supporting the CM and DS in field control activities of Companies/Suppliers concerning HSE aspects;
  • Collaborating with the PM and CM in managing and potentially proposing updates to the PSC to be forwarded to the CEL, whenever they deem it necessary to better ensure site safety based on their experience and collaborating with the SPP service in drafting, adapting, and/or updating the POS / DVR / DSS / DUVRI;
  • Providing appropriate suggestions to the CM regarding the execution of work under safe and hygienic conditions and in preventing damage or hazardous events and assisting and supporting the CM and DS in field control activities of Companies/Suppliers concerning HSE aspects;
  • Collaborating with the CM in verifying the maintenance status of safety equipment, assisting the DS in completing Work Permits (if requested) and acting as an interface between the CSE and the CM;
  • Participating in coordination meetings with the CM and/or CSE, collaborating with the CM and PM to ensure that companies comply with the requirements set out in their respective POS / DVR and proposing and promoting HSE awareness activities;
  • Conducting regular site inspections to ensure that safe equipment and working methods are used and that all applicable regulations are respected, supervising the activities of Safety Technicians of the various Executing Companies, with particular focus on training, information, and on-site supervision and convening workplace health and safety meetings with the participation of all Safety Technicians;
  • Participating in investigations and analyses of any accidents and/or incidents occurring on site and verifying the implementation of corrective actions, collecting, checking, and disseminating on-site data on accidents/incidents, raw material consumption, and waste disposal and supporting the CM and PM in implementing the Life Saving Rules (LSR) program, the LiHS program, and other project-defined HSE campaigns;
  • Managing and supervising activities related to health, safety, and environment throughout project development, ensuring correct application of the Contractor's HSE Management System, being responsible for the proper implementation of the Contractor's specific environmental plans/procedures (including training activities) and updating them when necessary and ensuring that the Contractor's project HSE documents are sent to all subcontractors who have not already received them from the Project HSE Manager;
  • Participating in coordination meetings with the CSE as per Art. 92 paragraph 1 letter a) of Legislative Decree 81/08, ensuring the compliance process of the Executing Companies' POS with the Contractor/Awarding Company POS and ensuring the information required under Art. 36 of Legislative Decree 81/08 for all Contractor's employees working on project risk assessment documents.
    For their activities, the FHSEM may rely on a variable number of site ASPPs if foreseen.

What are we looking for?

Education: Master's Degree/bachelor's degree in: Engineering or Science

Experience: 7 years as HSE technician with at least 2 years as HSE Manager within Oil and Gas field.

Languages: Italian (mother tongue) and English

Technical Skills: Training as RSPP (ateco 4 or 5), mandatory; Tap Root or RCA training, plus; IOGP or NEBOSH IGC, plus; ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 Team leader certify, required;

IT Skills: Microsoft Office
