Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance in your assigned area of responsibility to cultivate a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE. Each day, you will support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain.

The work model for the role is: onsite

This role is contributing to the ELSP in Frosinone plant, Italy.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Reporting HSE incidents to the management and relevant stakeholders and taking appropriate actions.
• Facilitating, assisting, and providing guidance on incident investigations to learn better ways for mitigating risks.
• Providing feedback to the management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within their own unit and across ABB.
• Supporting and driving behavioral change through the local implementation of group-wide and business-specific performance improvement programs and practices.

Qualifications for the role

• You are highly skilled in HSE topics and you enjoy working with people in production and in interfuctional team
• You have min 1-2 years of experience in job position related to Health, Safety , Environment Management
• Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Prevention
• An knowledge of Risk Evaluation formats and standards (e.g. UNI EN ISO 45001, UNI EN ISO 14001, ISO 50001) would be considered an advantage.
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, CAD SW
• Advanced proficiency in Italian is mandatory; English proficiency would be an advantage
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across all levels of the Organization, from the shop floor to the boardroom
