Responsible for overseeing and assuring all Health & Safety (HSE) activities on large-scale data centre construction projects. Acts as an independent, site-based advisor ensuring contractors comply with safety regulations and best practices in high-risk environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with H&S legislation and project standards
• Oversee high-risk activities (HV works, MEP installation, lifting, confined spaces, SIMOPS)
• Conduct site audits, inspections, and monitor H&S performance (KPIs)
• Review RAMS, permits, and safety procedures
• Support planning and safe sequencing of works
• Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions
• Promote strong safety culture and best practices across contractors

Requirements

• ~10 years' experience in H&S on large construction or data centre projects
• Qualification in Health & Safety (e.g. NEBOSH or equivalent)
• Experience in high-risk, multi-contractor environments
• Strong communication, leadership, and reporting skills
• Fluent German and English
