Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage HSE staff in executing daily activities to include site inspections, oversights, self-verifications, and reporting.
• Preparing weekly and monthly HSE reports, statistics and presentations related to HSE performance.
• Monitor and track overall project HSE performance and communicate trends and achievements.
• Develop all the required documentation, operational checks and reports for the HSE Management System to be compliant with ISO standards, Company & Client requirements, including corrective and preventive measures.
• Monitor and track overall project HSE assurance activities to ensure alignment with Company & Client HSE requirements.
• Coordinate and participate in the investigation of accidents and near misses. Review and analyze accidents and near miss findings and developing and tracking corrective actions.
• Investigate HSE complaints put forward by staff members and report the results to management.
• Develop and implement self-verifications and Oversights strategy to align with nonconformance trends and high-risk activities to include Keys to Life risks, Company critical activities, work permit process and implementation.
• Lead the process of 90-day HAZID reviews and ensure the Project Risk Register is updated and maintained.
• Maintain a site presence and inspect job site activities during particularly difficult or hazardous work situations.
• Coordinate with weekly safety focused walkthroughs with site management and supervision.
• Conduct weekly HSE leadership meetings and monthly HSE meetings.
• Develop and maintain emergency response procedures and evacuation plans.
• Ensure regular emergency response exercises and drills are conducted to ensure the highest level of preparedness in any emergency. Maintains records of such drills, providing recommendations for emergency response improvements.
• To advise site management, craft employees and subcontractors on successful implementation of Zero Harm objectives.

Education & Experience:
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related HSE discipline is required, preferably with a specialization in OH&S, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP), NEBOSH or NVQ Level 3 in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent), and Chartered Membership of IOSH or equivalent recognized professional certification.
• Minimum 10+years' Relevant Experience in HSE Leadership role.

Skills Required:
• Strong team-building capability across multi-disciplinary teams
• In-depth knowledge of local HSE regulations and compliance requirements
• Proven managerial experience in Health, Safety, and Environment within similar industries
• Strong expertise in incident investigation and root cause analysis (RCA)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English with excellent report writing skills
• Effective training and competency development skills
• Sound project management capabilities
• Strong performance management and leadership skills
• Ability to prepare detailed audit reports with clear preventive and corrective actions
• Qualified in the implementation and auditing of ISO management systems
