Objectives and deliverables
Missions & Responsibilities Reporting to the Regional Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager, you will work as an HSEQ engineer on the Fos sites and the Med-Onsites entity, in support of the HSEQ Specialists.
Tutored by the HSEQ Specialist in Fos, you will mainly be solicited on the following themes:

Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, propose and coordinate compliance plans;
  • Contribute, in conjunction with the Regulatory Affairs Department, to the drafting of Porters à Connaissance.
Emergency Management
  • Update/Improve Emergency Plans and organize exercises.

Risk management
  • Ensuring compliance with Risk Management requirements in change and project management.
  • Contribute to the development and revision of Accident Risk Analyses and Hazard Studies.
QHSE Roadmap
  • Manage the implementation of actions defined in the QHSE roadmap in project mode.
You may also be asked to contribute to other themes, such as:
  • Ensure the proper declaration of QHSE events, coordinate the analysis of the causes, the examination of follow-up files, monitor the progress of action plans.
  • Lead the management system with the teams, ensure its robustness, its appropriation by the operational actors, promote continuous improvement in terms of QHSE:
    1. Updating and compliance with procedures
    2. Adequacy of training/accreditations related to the professions
    3. Adequacy of prevention plans / safety protocols
    4. Safety animation of service providers/suppliers and evaluation
    5. Update of the workplace hazard analysis and environmental analyses
    6. Follow-up of action plans
    7. Carrying out audits and controls
  • Supporting operational staff in the management of the management system: operational reviews, steering committees, etc.
  • Prepare for the various internal/external audits and inspections of the authorities, participate in them, consolidate and follow the resulting action plans.
  • Assist site managers in the deployment of the security approach.
  • Prepare the CSSCT.

Engineering education or equivalent. - Confirmed
Taste for the field, interpersonal skills, good oral and written communication, curiosity, enthusiasm and appetite for teamwork - Confirmed
Ideally, knowledge of the chemical sector and the regulations of Classified Facilities for the Protection of the Environment. - Confirmed
Practice of risk analysis and problem-solving methods. - Expert
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in QHSE management in an industrial environment. - Confirmed
Must have basic knowledge, a strong interest in risk management (projects, industrial), regulations related to ICPEs and monitoring the environmental impact of a plant (water discharges, atmospheric discharges). - Confirmed
Strong analytical and structuring skills, ability to synthesize. - Expert
