About the role
The Guinness Partnership is looking to recruit a Health and Safety Officer to join a busy, thriving team covering the South Coast, Havant and surrounding areas, on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will need to be based within 50 miles of Havant to be able to travel to all required locations in a timely manner.
What we are looking for
We are seeking a proactive Health & Safety Officer to provide expert guidance and support across the business. You will conduct audits, incident management, inspections, support management teams in promoting a positive safety culture, and advise on risks to employees, residents, supply chain partners, and the public. If you are passionate about driving high safety standards and making a real impact, we would like to hear from you.
You will be able to demonstrate these essential skills:
• Knowledge of current health and safety legislation, regulations and industry codes of practice.
• Proven track record of developing and delivering training.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Good report writing skills.
• Proven customer service experience.
• Good attention to detail.
• Good influencing skills.
• Good oral and written communication.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Able to demonstrate Guinness behaviours.
Essential qualifications:
• Nebosh Level 6 Diploma or equivalent.
• Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
