Are you an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong background in complex, high-value projects? This is an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role in contract management, providing strategic guidance and commercial expertise across major projects.

Role Overview

As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all contractual matters related to assigned projects, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with contract terms. You will work closely with project managers, directors, and stakeholders, guiding them on contractual, commercial, and technical aspects while leading a team of contract professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on contract risks, commercial strategies, and risk mitigation to internal stakeholders, including project managers and directors.
• Lead and manage contract documentation for assigned projects, ensuring compliance and best practice contract management.
• Oversee the prequalification and Request for Quotations (RFQs) process, ensuring a thorough and structured approach to contractor selection.
• Post-award contract administration, including warranties, insurances, guarantees, amendments, change requests, and formal contract closeouts.
• Develop and implement project subcontracting strategies, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry best practices.
• Manage a team of contract professionals, overseeing tender evaluations, contract negotiations, and subcontractor management.
• Support procurement teams in negotiating purchase order terms and resolving contractual claims.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and transparency across project teams, regions, and stakeholders.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial and contract management.
• Strong knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale, high-risk contracts.
• Familiarity with the offshore oil & gas industry (preferred).
• Expertise in contract law, risk assessment, and dispute resolution.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and mentor teams effectively.
