Rotation: 6 weeks on/2 weeks off
This is a full-time onsite position in Basra, Iraq with travel requirement.

Key Objectives
- The purpose of a Camp Supervisor is to oversee the daily operations of a camp facility and ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently. This role involves managing staff, ensuring camp rules are followed, and developing and implementing camp activities and programs. The Camp Supervisor also works to ensure the safety and well-being of clients, maintain appropriate facility standards, and ensure the camp provides a high-quality experience for all clients.
- Provision of office space, accommodations, and facilities at DS6 Camp, including furnishings, equipment, and maintenance services necessary to support DS6 Camp business needs.
- Ensure Facilities Integrity Management systems compliance.
- Ensure that all maintenance and associated support services are performed using duly qualified contractors and suppliers and that such services are performed safely at all times.
- Maintain timely and effective response to maintenance requirements including both preventive maintenance and ad-hoc/emergency maintenance needs.
- Maintain proactive preventive maintenance planning and scheduling to reduce cost and optimize available maintenance services.
- Contract interface management and coordination with contracted services and stewarding performance of all applicable third-party critical services.
- Effectively coach, steward, and regularly monitor and measure safety performance of Contractors to ensure compliance expectations are maintained at and exceeding minimal expectations.
- Conduct periodic self-assessments and audits of Logistics Department Facilities controls including review of risk assessments, control catalogs, and procedures to ensure these controls are up to date, and accurately reflect and support the work activities.
- Supervise and oversee catering operations.
- Supervise and oversee waste management operations.
- Supervise Laundry Service
- Ensure ongoing customer service and maintaining customer relations by focusing on the contract's daily operations based on the needs of the customer.
- Conduct periodic training to ensure all personnel are complying with regulatory requirements
- Maintains discipline of employees under their supervision in accordance with established rules and regulations
QUALIFICATIONS

Expected:
- Bachelor's degree in recreation, hospitality, or related field
- 3-5 years' experience in camp management or a similar role
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in recreation, hospitality, or related field
- 5-7 years' experience in camp management or a similar role
- Experience working with children and teenagers
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Wilderness First Responder certification
Key Competencies - Knowledge:
- Must have Sound knowledge of Hospitality , camp and field management
- Good organizational and inventory skills , Bi lingual capabilities- Arabic speaking would be preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills/Customer Service oriented and Hospitality Industry background
