JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Responsibilities

  • Define responsibilities and assign tasks to QA/QC personnel.
  • Prepare and submit quality status and management review reports to the Director of Quality.
  • Oversee document control activities to maintain compliance.
  • Conduct internal audits of the Quality Management System.
  • Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities.
  • Ensure compliance with UL 1316 standards and internal FGS procedures.
  • Collaborate with plant engineering and production teams on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage Management of Change (MOC) and Risk Assessment activities.


Job Duties

  • Support quality assurance programs to meet regulatory and company standards.
  • Analyze and interpret data to ensure product quality and process improvement.
  • Operate measurement tools such as scales, OD tape, rulers, and thread height gauges.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
  • Work in a factory environment with varying temperatures and physical demands.
  • Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. for up to 12 hours daily.
  • Maintain safety and compliance in a fast-paced, team-oriented work setting.
  • Follow technical repair and assembly guidelines as needed.


Education and Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree required; Bachelors Degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • In lieu of QA/QC experience, 10 years of relevant manufacturing experience will be considered.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Must pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude required.
  • Experience in ISO, API, ASME, or similar certified environments preferred.
  • Training in ISO 9001 is a plus.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.


Pay Range

  • $78,000-$84,000 annual salary
