Lead tactical operations and site strategy for one of GE Aviation's strategic distribution centers focused primarily on exceeding expectations for our internal and external military customers.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead site operations with a focus on defined targets & objectives in safety, delivery, quality, cost, inventory and productivity in that order.
• Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards
• Manage and develop GE exempt and hourly unionized workforce with a strong emphasis on strengthening relationships with customers and partnering on improvement activities.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement to drive waste elimination through use of FLIGHT DECK fundamentals.
• Evolve strategic plan for the site to continually raise the bar in safety, technology, automation and productivity.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
• Minimum of 5 years plant management distribution, logistics or related experience

• Minimum 3 years experience leading an hourly workforce (union or non-union)
• Six Sigma/ Lean experience a plus
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Excellent organizational integration and influencing skills
• Proven track record for meeting customer / business needs
• Executive level presentation skills
• Clear thinking and solid prioritization skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects/ projects
