AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Quality Coordinator to join our East Harbour Transit Hub Alliance project team in Toronto. The Quality Coordinator will be part of a high-performing project team that is dedicated to delivering this complex undertaking through collaboration and a best-for-project vision.
Your role within the team:
To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate field related activities and issues, including nonconformities, preventative actions and improvement requests.
• Coordinate and participate on project quality audits and/or surveillance at the sites checking the quality processes, procedures, and paperwork.
• Support the process of collection, and classification of all Quality Management System records.
• Facilitate internal audits including corrective actions to provide independent feedback to further support project quality improvement.
• Establish and facilitate validation requirements for design readiness reviews prior to critical project milestones including design package review submissions.
• Prepare and implement audits program to assure compliance to the Integrated Quality Management Program and Project procedures.

The ideal candidate:
• Technical degree in Civil or construction related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of previous experience as quality control/quality assurance in a construction environment.
• System and project quality auditing experience.
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Suite) as well as ability to engineer specific data reports.
• Problem solving abilities, contribution to new quality initiatives, striving for continuous improvements and accurate record keeping will be key to your success in this role.
