Spencer Ogden is seeking a Trade Transport & Logistics Specialist to support one of our global OEM client in various projects in Singapore and Malaysia. Key Responsibilities: Understand of import & export stature requirement for local & oversea markets Execute, direction and coordinate as required for all transportation matters within organisation, vendors & customers Plans, monitors and controls transportation activities include budgets, schedules & routes for incoming, permit application, exemption, outgoing and transfer of goods for the organisation. Manage all forwarders / customer agents for local & oversea activities Ensure close out activities and influences for an early close out. Assures and seeks to improve customer satisfaction and feedback through consistent customer interaction, and customer meetings, kick off, review, etc. Works proactively to set customer expectation to assure acceptance of timely deliverables even under challenging circumstances. Manage Vendors / Suppliers for quotations and best cost. Work actively with a number of suppliers to obtain overall best possible purchase, in cooperation with the supply management function. Desired Characteristics: Minimum two years experience managing logistics & activities. Bachelor's Degree / Diploma with domain experience Experience with logistic deliverable of different size, complexity and contractual types. Submission of all required logistic documentation & understand incoterm Experience working for Energy / Electrical & Automation projects are preferable Proficient in Mandarin Contract Duration: 1 year contract to start with possibility of extensions Mon to Fri, 8am-5pm Selangor, Malaysia If you are interested in learning more about this role and being part of an exciting organization, please apply via the button above.
