Logistics Specialist Intern

The Logistics Specialist Intern supports the team in the execution of logistics operations while meeting the required delivery dates, service level and safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support for transport requests and monitor delivery dates to achieve on-time delivery
• Support equipment loadout plans per planning standard operating procedures
• Monitor shipment/truck routings, leverage consolidation/cargo optimization, and maximize backload opportunities
• Review work orders, monitor shipment execution and track shipment movements
• Identify logistics network improvement projects or opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with the international transport regulations.
• Track cargo status and monitor performance
• Update Import and Export systems.

Exposures & Experiences

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply chain, Business Administration, or Engineering
• Working knowledge of SAP is a plus
• Knowledge of logistics rules, regulations and processes
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic industry
