Mitie proudly supports the UK Armed Forces as the Hard FM contractor for the MOD estate in the Falkland Islands. Our team of 150 professionals keeps essential services running across accommodation, airfields, and more.

We're looking for a proactive and experienced Mechanical & Electrical Project Manager to join our team in the Falkland Islands , overseeing a diverse portfolio of projects from inception to completion. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with a strong background in building services and a passion for delivering high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective solutions.

Your Role
  • Leading the planning and delivery of mechanical and electrical construction projects.
  • Managing contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Producing scopes of work and technical drawings using CAD.
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety, MOD standards, and industry regulations.
  • Driving sustainability and energy efficiency across all project phases.
  • Reporting on progress, risks, and performance to senior leadership.

What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience in M&E project management across commercial or public sector environments.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, lighting, power systems, and building services.
  • Confident communicator and team leader with excellent organisational skills.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Building Services, or Engineering.
  • Professional membership (CIOB, RICS, APM, CIBSE) or working towards.
  • Familiarity with MOD estates and JSP requirements (desirable).
  • CAD proficiency and ability to produce and review technical documentation.
