Provides strategic leadership and oversight for banking accounts within the Project and Program Management function. Responsible for guiding and coordinating end-to-end project and program activities-from initial design through to final delivery-ensuring alignment with business objectives and successful execution.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects and programs.
  • Direct and influence team members and stakeholders to achieve targeted outcomes and support diverse business goals.
  • Collaborate with key departments including Operations, Human Resources, Product Development, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Technology to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to project development.
  • Maintain full commercial ownership and accountability for assigned banking accounts, ensuring financial performance and strategic alignment.

Responsibilities

Responsible for leading a small team of Project Coordinators and managing a portfolio of projects with limited scope and complexity. This role requires dynamic leadership, effective customer engagement, and end-to-end project oversight to ensure successful delivery aligned with business objectives.

Team Leadership & Direction
  • Provide clear guidance and support to a small team of Project Coordinators.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Project Portfolio Management
  • Oversee a portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Ensure appropriate cross-functional and external stakeholder involvement throughout all project phases.

Governance & Methodology Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies and standards.
  • Maintain control over project scope, timelines, and budgets to ensure feasibility and success.

Resource Allocation & Capacity Planning
  • Allocate resources effectively across current and upcoming projects based on business priorities.
  • Proactively manage forward capacity in line with forecasted demand.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Conduct regular project reviews to track progress and ensure milestones are met.
  • Lead post-project evaluations to assess outcomes against business objectives.
  • Deliver accurate and timely performance reporting to both customers and internal stakeholders.

Commercial & Financial Management
  • Manage full commercial lifecycle including cost control, revenue tracking, gross margin analysis, purchase order creation, and end-of-month financial reconciliation.

Customer & Partner Engagement
  • Lead customer governance meetings, including face-to-face interactions.
  • Manage third-party partners to ensure service quality and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Typically has 6-8 years of experience in Project and Program Management and typically 0-2 years leadership experience.
  • Fluent business English skills (Written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certificate of Prince 2 good to have.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and Agile methodologies is preferred.
