Job (Assignment) Title: Project Manager Data Center Technologie (m/w/d)

Reports To: Project Delivery DACH

POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager with focus on Thermal will manage various projects to ensure timely delivery of all project obligations to the client's expectations and procedures, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Also, UPS Power, Rack and other interesting Projects can be processed.
This role is responsible for the management of the full project life cycle from implementation through to final closure. Ensures that project delivery is within pre-defined acceptance criteria for requested timescales and budgets. Establishes, promotes, and maintains excellent rapport with both internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrates strong focus on all project deliverables including forecasting and financial controls.

Attends and actively participates in meetings with the business and clients.
FINANCIAL REPORTING
Focuses on project forecast reporting. Ensures requested updates are delivered on time in line with the business requests. Ensures that project costs are accurately reported and where necessary participates in preparing cost reports for analysis.

COMMERCIAL PERFORMANCE
Ensures projects are delivered in line with the opening margin and seek improvement possibilities during the project life cycle without compromising on quality.

Key external stakeholders: Clients, Consultants, Contractors, End Users
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Minimum Graduate Thermal or Electrical Engineer otherwise equivalent technical background
for example, experience as site Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES - PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Effective management of projects to ensure efficient and timely delivery of all project obligations as set out by the business and the client's expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Accepts full ownership for the project life cycle from implementation through to final closure. Provides assistance as required across the business to ensure successful project delivery.
- Acts as a single point of contact for the customer with responsibility for attending site meetings.
- preparing project documentation, producing project programs, and attending factory witness tests.
ORGANISATION
- Responsible for the delivery of key business objectives.
COMMUNICATION
- Ensures communication is clear and in line with the business culture.
- Actively seeks and develops opportunities for mutually beneficial relationships throughout the connected business departments, specifically Sales and Service. Particular focus should be applied to effective communication when dealing with external stakeholders.

- Previous 3+ years of professional experience in Project Engineering/ Project Management desirable
- Minimum 2 year of managing contracts preferably to Prince2 standard or equivalent desirable.
- Experience in managing sub-contractor's desirable.
- Working knowledge of commercial contract agreements.
- Working knowledge of project planning tools, especially Microsoft applications
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communications.
- Excellent customer service skills and smart appearance essential
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated and capable of operating with minimal supervision
- Multi-tasking ability with a flexible approach to work
- Disciplined, motivated and stress resistant.
- Ability to manage big projects or the motivated will to learn.
