Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator / Project Manager to lead the Owner's Engineer site team (approx. 15 members) for the supervision and coordination of this landmark wastewater treatment project.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in wastewater treatment, proven site supervision expertise, and a track record managing large-scale EPC projects in the KSA or GCC region.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator/Manager will act on behalf of the OWNER (SPV) and lead all activities related to the EPC Contract, including but not limited to:

Design & Engineering:

• Oversee and manage the design review team to ensure timely release of EPC design documents.
• Review and approve engineering and technical documentation.
• Ensure alignment of design milestones with procurement and construction schedules.

Construction Supervision:

• Manage a multidisciplinary site supervision team.
• Monitor EPC Contractor's construction activities and progress.
• Conduct site inspections, walkdowns, and quality audits.
• Supervise testing, commissioning, plant startup, and performance guarantee verification.
• Review and validate defects and corrective actions.

Project Management & Controls:

• Monitor and update the Owner's project schedule.
• Control project cost, schedule, variations, and claims.
• Manage vendor performance, site administration, and insurance claims.
• Lead coordination between EPC Contractor, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders.

Additional Activities:

• Participate in project meetings on behalf of the Owner.
• Oversee inspection of spare parts and special tools.
• Support tendering activities and contract administration as needed.
• Remain engaged through all warranty periods.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) from a recognized university.
• 15+ years of direct and relevant experience managing EPC projects in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Wastewater Treatment sectors.
• 10+ years of construction and site experience.
• Minimum 7 years in a management or leadership position overseeing multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated experience with major international EPC projects.
• In-depth knowledge of international codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ASTM, ASHRAE).
• Experience in basic design, FEED, bidding, and tendering for major projects.
• Strong capability in interface management between multiple stakeholders and contractors.
• Familiarity with FIDIC and NEC contract frameworks.
• Established network of vendors and suppliers globally.
• Middle East and KSA experience is mandatory.
