Requirements
Project Planning & Coordination
- Review project scope, specifications, and contractual obligations.
- Develop detailed project plans including schedules, resource allocation, and budgeting.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are aligned and met.
- Conduct site inspections to assess progress and resolve on-ground challenges.
- Oversee and manage all aluminium and glass installation activities on-site.
- Ensure technical accuracy, compliance with design specifications, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate procurement of materials and ensure timely delivery to avoid delays.
- Supervise site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors.
- Monitor project costs and ensure work is completed within budget.
- Identify and mitigate risks or delays that could affect project delivery.
- Approve work schedules and project milestones for tracking and reporting.
- Prepare and submit periodic project reports to management and clients.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, inspection records, and variation orders.
- Handle client correspondence and ensure timely submission of invoices and claims.
- Lead project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Provide coaching and support to team members to achieve performance targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years of proven experience in project management within the aluminium and glass industry in the UAE.
- In-depth knowledge of aluminium systems, curtain walls, cladding, structural glazing, doors, windows, and skylights.
- Strong understanding of shop drawings, structural calculations, and fabrication/installation processes.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office Suite.
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
- UAE Driving License is preferred.
