Job Title: Project Manager (Construction)

Location: Barrow-In-Furness - On-site

Salary: Circa £60,000 depending on experience

What you'll be doing:
  • Support on high-impact MEICA projects, driving innovation and improvement across our engineering and infrastructure programmes
  • Have responsibility for the end-to-end delivery - ensuring the project hits time, cost, and quality targets
  • Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams and external partners, turning technical tasks into practical, sustainable solutions
  • Manage and coordinate with Principal Contractors site activities under Construction (Design & Management ) Regulations 2015
  • Advocate for a safety-first culture, overseeing contractor activities in line with CDM 2015 standards

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:
  • Experienced in leading multi-faceted mechanical or electrical projects within live manufacturing, or production environments
  • Solid technical foundation - HVAC or LEV experience is a real advantage
  • Influential communicator and natural leader , able to influence at all levels
  • Qualified to HNC or above in Engineering/Construction, with solid project management experience
  • Hold a Project Management certification (APMQ, PRINCE2 or equivalent)

The Site Facilities Major Projects Team

Working for the Site and facilities directorate this is an exciting opportunity to join the LEV Programme at Barrow-in-Furness. The programme involves upgrading LEV systems to modern standards, improving the work environment for current and future teams. You'll be joining a developing team where you'll expand your skillset and gain exposure across the wider business giving the opportunity for professional growth within the function and the opportunity to work across various functions.

We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
