As part of the Product & Project Management skills development programme, you'll develop skills in product design, insight creation, project and change management.
Where you'll be working
Our Mortgages function brings together 3,000 colleagues, all working towards our mission to provide the best mortgage service in the UK. You'll work with product teams covering residential and buy-to-let mortgages, ensuring customers get the right products while meeting Nationwide's commercial goals.
Working across our Mortgage Products & Proposition and Business Services teams, you'll build in-depth understanding of how we design and price products, and market and customer insights.
What you'll be doing
On our 2-year programme, you'll work towards the role of an Assistant Product Manager or Change Manager.
Your placement focuses on building mortgage product knowledge across areas including pricing, product development, research, data and insight, project management, policy, and customer management. We'll tailor your experience to your interests, whether that's commercial pricing, policy and customer outcomes, or working with marketing teams to improve customer journeys.
To support your journey, you'll also be encouraged to work towards role-related qualifications.
You'll also gain access to a bespoke 18-month learning journey to develop core business skills that complement role-specific development.
Location
At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate,whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected.
For this job you'll spend at least two days per week based at either our Swindon, Bournemouth, London or Northampton office.
