About the University of Sunderland

The University of Sunderland offers life-changing opportunities for 27,500 students across its campuses in Sunderland, London, Hong Kong, and through global partnerships with learning institutions in 19 countries. We're proud to be a top 30 UK university (Guardian University Guide 2025), with top-quality facilities, inclusive culture, and our vibrant, ever-changing city. The University of Sunderland is in an exciting phase of its development with a new vision and redefined strategic ambitions designed to take advantage of the ever-changing higher education landscape at home and overseas.

About the role

The School of Computer Science and Engineering is experiencing significant growth in student numbers for our undergraduate and postgraduate provision. The MSc Project Management programme is responsible for a large proportion of that growth and as a result, we need to expand our teaching team. This is an exciting phase for the school - you will be working with a dynamic group of academics, as part of a facility which has seen a £3 million investment state-of-the-art equipment.

What you will bring

A strong foundation in project management education, with experience delivering undergraduate and postgraduate modules, supervising student projects, and designing assessments at the postgraduate level. Holding a minimum of a Level 7 qualification in a project management-related discipline and ideally progressing toward PhD completion, you also contribute actively to research and publications in your field.

If you thrive in dynamic and evolving environments, you'll find opportunities, support, and the freedom to reach your full potential here.
