Good things this way If you're an ambitious go-getter who enjoys solving problems and learning new skills, our Skills Development Programme provides a clear and rewarding pathway into Retail Product and Project Management. As part of this 2-year programme, you will work across multiple teams within Group Retail, contributing to the design, development, and delivery of products and services for our customers.
You'll play a key role in implementing change across different departments, building broad experience and insight into how we shape and improve the customer journey at Nationwide. Alongside your role, you'll take part in ongoing development workshops, training, and role-related qualifications, helping you grow in confidence and capability throughout your journey.
You'll build new skills and knowledge to prepare you for a rewarding future role as either an Assistant Product Manager or a Change Consultant. Thrive within our high-performance culture as you experience hands-on learning, tailored training, and a strong support network.
Where you'll be working Our Retail function is made up of departments that cover products, operations and services; together more than 9,000 colleagues design, develop and deliver compelling banking and savings products to our customers, supported by an excellent range of services and through multiple channels.
We're looking for high-performing, purpose-driven focused on meeting our customers' needs and helping our channels deliver excellence every day.
What you'll be doing During your two-year programme, you'll rotate across Group Retail sub-functions, building the skills and knowledge to prepare for a future role as either an Assistant Product Manager or a Change Consultant. You'll gain exposure to multiple teams and initiatives, balancing the commercial needs of Nationwide with providing simply brilliant experiences for our customers. One of your rotations will be in a customer-facing area, giving you valuable insight into the needs of the people we design and deliver products and services for.
You'll access a bespoke 24-month learning journey, developing core business skills that complement your role-specific development. You'll also join a broader Skills Development cohort, attending workshops and sessions while working alongside high-performing colleagues from across the organisation.
Location At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working.
