Hill McGlynn are working with a leading E&E subcontractor, who are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their growing team. As the new Mechanical Project Manager, you'll have the opportunity to take on full autonomy over your own diary, managing projects ranging from £1,500 to £250,000 across London and the South East. Hybrid working options are available within reason, allowing you to strike the perfect balance between office and remote work.

- Diverse Project Portfolio: Oversee a wide range of mechanical projects, from small-scale installations to large-scale developments, ensuring seamless coordination and successful delivery.
- Collaborative Leadership: Forge strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, fostering a collaborative environment that drives project success.
- Adaptable Problem-Solver: Demonstrate your ability to navigate complex challenges, think creatively, and implement innovative solutions to keep projects on track.
- Extensive experience in managing multiple mechanical projects simultaneously, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the agility to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Proficient in project management software and tools, with the ability to create and maintain detailed project plans and schedules.
- Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering principles, building regulations, and health and safety requirements.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
- Membership in a relevant professional body, such as the Chartered Institution
