Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri

Location: Liverpool city centre on a hybrid basis

Salary: £Competitive

What You'll Do
  • Lead & Develop: Run 1:1s, coach your team, and build a high-performing group of project professionals.
  • Drive Governance: Ensure clarity, compliance, and quality across projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Collaborate at Scale: Engage with senior stakeholders, technical leads, and heads of department to align priorities.
  • Champion Best Practice: Partner with data protection, security, and audit teams to maintain robust controls.
  • Own the Roadmap: Shape the project department's strategy and publish regular updates on progress.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and refine project documentation before it reaches senior leadership.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage time tracking and reporting for the team, ensuring efficiency and transparency.

What we are looking for:
  • Deep knowledge of insurance processes and experience in large-scale organisations.
  • Proven project management expertise and ability to handle complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Exceptional leadership and people skills - you inspire, listen, and collaborate.
  • A proactive, ambitious mindset - ready to push forward and grow within the insurance sector.
  • Strong understanding and effective implementation of project methodologies to facilitate delivery.
  • A proven proficiency in project management tools
  • Excels at managing risk, change and conflicting priorities.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills to manage multiple workstreams.
