Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead engineering and manufacturing projects from concept to completion. In this role, you will manage projects up to £1 million, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be the main point of contact for customers, maintain strong communication with all stakeholders, and collaborate closely with internal teams to optimize project outcomes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on solving complex challenges, driving continuous improvement, and delivering results.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager, you will take full ownership of your projects, ensuring smooth execution and successful delivery:
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and risk management.
- Act as the main customer interface, maintaining clear communication, managing expectations, and keeping all project documentation accurate and up to date.
- Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to drive quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) improvements.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and implement strategies to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Identify opportunities to enhance project delivery processes, improve client satisfaction, and contribute to best practices.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, reporting requirements, and project management standards.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will need strong project management and engineering expertise, combined with excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. You should be able to drive complex projects while keeping stakeholders aligned and processes running smoothly.
- Formal Project Management qualification (APM, Prince2, PMI) or minimum 5 years' practical experience in engineering project management.
- Technical qualification (HNC/HND or higher) and strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and Project.
- Proven leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused.
- Valid UK work permit, passport, and driving license; willingness to travel.
- Understanding of business processes in capital equipment manufacturing is preferred.

- On-time and within-budget project delivery.
- Successful FAT & SAT testing.
