Job Summary

Job Title: IT Project Manager

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Location: 40 Grosvenor Place, London

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

What are we looking for?

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our IT Project Management Office (PMO). Reporting to the Head of IT PMO, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of major and minor IT change initiatives across a broad technology landscape including Applications, Infrastructure, Networks, Unified Communications, End User Computing and Cybersecurity.

This role offers the chance to make a tangible impact in an environment where digital capability directly supports high-quality patient care. You will work closely with clinical, operational, business and supplier teams, ensuring the successful delivery of projects that underpin the organisation's strategic goals.

What will your duties include?

As an IT Project Manager, you will:
  • Lead the full lifecycle delivery of IT projects and programmes, including service transition and post-implementation review
  • Develop and maintain core project artefacts including PIDs/TORs, project plans, RAID logs, action logs, decision logs and status reports
  • Define resource requirements, budgets, stakeholders and communication strategies for each project
  • Manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks and issues across concurrent project portfolios
  • Provide day-to-day coordination and task management of project teams, recognising their split across BAU and project work
  • Utilise Road mapping, Program Increment Planning and Sprint Planning processes to secure and manage resource commitments
  • Navigate and apply enterprise processes including Sourcing, IT Intake, Cybersecurity Review, Architectural Review, Contracting and Change Control
  • Present clear and concise project updates at governance meetings and to senior leadership
  • Adhere to PMO ways of working, including sprint planning, tracking and reporting

What we need from you?

Essential
  • Demonstrated success delivering IT projects and programmes with clear, tangible outcomes.
  • Proven ability to deliver software/application implementations, change initiatives or digital transformation, ideally within an EHR-centric context.
  • Experience managing suppliers and third-party delivery teams.
  • Comfortable working with and influencing senior leadership.
  • Understanding of Agile principles.
  • Professional background in Healthcare or IT (ideally both).
  • Certified in at least one of the following

- Waterfall: PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, MSP, APM PMQ/PPQ

- Agile: CSM/PSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe

- Continuous Improvement: Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen

- ITSM: ITIL4

Desirable
  • Experience delivering or managing change related to Epic EHR.
  • Experience implementing or transitioning enterprise/non-clinical applications.
  • Experience delivering technology projects (network, infrastructure, unified communications, end-user computing).
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM).
  • Familiarity with Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Background in business analysis, architecture, testing or development.
  • Experience implementing AI or RPA solutions.

  • Capable of delivering multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high delivery standards
  • Strong ability to manage scope, schedules, dependencies, risks, and issues
  • Confident in producing and maintaining high-quality project documentation
  • Working knowledge of Agile principles and experience operating within sprint-based processes
