Role Overview

We take an enterprise-wide approach to projects, spanning all aspects of the business-from implementing new technologies to initiating functions that create competitive advantage and promote best practice. Our benchmark is efficiency.

As a Project Manager, you'll manage the delivery of a diverse range of software development projects, including application development, website builds, and company initiatives. You'll plan and manage multiple complex projects across the portfolio landscape, ensuring stakeholder expectations are met and processes continuously improve.

Key Responsibilities

Programme & Project Delivery

• Manage a programme of complex initiatives spanning one or multiple lines of business.
• Provide leadership for project teams by building and motivating members to meet goals and milestones.
• Own full project life cycle from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously.
• Ensure projects align with strategic objectives and report on success criteria and KPIs.

Governance & Stakeholder Management

• Communicate effectively across leadership, providing clear updates on milestones, risks, and dependencies.
• Develop and deliver status reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to sponsors, Directors, and key stakeholders.
• Identify and build trusted relationships with sponsors and Director-level stakeholders.

Process & Quality

• Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to mature project delivery capabilities.
• Act as an internal quality control check for projects/programmes.
• Assist in dispute resolution, negotiation, and conflict management as needed.

Team Leadership & Development

• Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project and programme teams.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities appropriately and manage expectations.
• Continue professional development to stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices.

Customer Focus

• Drive positive customer satisfaction levels with projects.

Required Experience

• Technical project management experience within a software/web development environment.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Track record of successful project delivery across full life cycle.
• Experience establishing practices, templates, and tools to mature organisational capabilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies or understanding of Agile principles.
• Strong presentation skills.
