What you'll be doing
- Manage the effective construction of projects from design and procurement through to commissioning and handover.
- Supervise health, safety, and welfare on site, ensuring compliance with HSE plans and regulatory standards.
- Lead and motivate onsite teams, including subcontractors, to achieve project milestones and quality standards.
- Monitor site conditions, productivity, and resource usage to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Support project managers with risk assessments, method statements, and site establishment schedules.
- Oversee commissioning activities, snagging, and final handover documentation.
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, attending regular review meetings.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and best practice across all stages of the project.
Who We're Looking for
- Proven experience in construction management within the MEP industry.
- Formal qualifications such as Level 3 ONC or Level 4 HNC in Building Services or Construction Management.
- Strong knowledge of building services installations, health and safety regulations, and commissioning processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage teams, budgets, and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of MS Project or Asta Power Project is desirable.
- Relevant certifications (CSCS Card, Electrical Supervisors qualifications, Health & Safety).
