TECHNICIAL APPRENTICESHIP
Technical Apprenticeships are available at a number of entry points from GCSE, A Level or BTEC awards, we are currently seeking to recruit individuals hoping to transition onto a Higher-Level or Degree Level Apprenticeship, which are offered from Level 4 to Level 7.
A Higher Apprenticeship provides a structured pathway to develop your skills while earning a nationally recognised qualification. You'll gain valuable hands-on experience in the workplace alongside dedicated study time, with all training costs fully funded. These programmes offer a clear route to professional body membership and can lead to rewarding careers.
Successful candidates are expected to join the company from June 2026 onwards. This applies to those seeking graduate roles, industrial placements, or apprenticeship opportunities.

As a Trainee Pre-Construction Manager you will;
- Report to the Marketing Manager and collaborate closely with the Bid team, gathering and documenting key information through site visits, interviews, and meetings.
- Research historical project data, ensuring we maintain an accurate and valuable record of past achievements.
- Support the development of our case study database, bridging the gap between site teams, bid teams, and completed projects.
The Trainee Pre-Construction Manager shall:
- Case Study Development: Gather key project insights through site visits, interviews, and meetings, ensuring information is well-documented and structured.
- Collaboration: Work closely with site and office-based teams, ensuring seamless communication and knowledge-sharing between departments.
- Bid Support: Provide valuable case study content to support tender submissions and help secure new profitable work.
- Information Management: Research and document historical project data, maintaining a comprehensive case study database.
- Content Presentation: Ensure case studies are presented clearly and concisely, making complex project details easy to understand.
- Photography Coordination: Liaise with external photographers, setting briefs to capture high-quality project imagery.
- UK Travel: Visit sites across the UK to collect data and strengthen relationships with project teams.

Technical Competencies

- Currently studying, or planning to undertake, a higher or degree-level apprenticeship in a construction-related discipline
- Strong interest in construction, technology and the built environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Interest in technology and design (e.g. Adobe Indesign, Photoshop and Acrobat)
- Strong communication skills - ability to engage with teams across departments
- Ability to gather, assess, and present project information clearly
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
Desirable
- Background or interest in construction - knowledge of industry practices is a plus.
- Experience working in a bid team, project research, or content development.
- Ability to liaise with external photographers, setting briefs for project imagery.
- Understanding of tender processes and bid documentation structure.
