Job Description:

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance

LOCATION: Stevenage OR Portsmouth OR Newport (60% of your working week must be office based)

TYPE: Full time

TRAVEL: UK travel once a month / bimonthly

About the Role...

Are you a passionate Infrastructure Project Manager looking for a long term, stable role where your work will make a real difference? Love joining up the dots and untying the knots? Enjoy genuine autonomy and working closely with internal clients? Then we would like to hear from you.

We have created a new role for a Project Manager to drive major Airbus Defence and Space UK IT infrastructure projects involving many actors, technologies, etc. You will be joining Multi functional project teams, managing complex technical choices and learning a variety of standard and bespoke Airbus technologies. This is a high visibility role.

How will you contribute to the team...
  • Pioneer transformative IT infrastructure projects, managing time, scope, cost, and quality to ensure successful delivery of product, service, or solution outcomes to the customer.
  • Manage project stakeholder relationships and customer expectations, ensuring requirements are clearly understood and met throughout project lifecycles.
  • Identify and analyse different technical scenarios, precisely defining cost impacts (Recurring and non-recurring) and potential impacts
  • Work closely with the technical experts and Chief Information Security Officer

About you...
  • Enjoys supporting and working closely with stakeholders through Infrastructure changes, across different locations
  • IT Infrastructure Project management experience for an international and complex company
  • Experience managing the capacity and long-term forecasting workload of the Multi-Functional Teams (MFT)
  • Has a background in Defence, Government, Military, Security, Cyber security, National security or similar.
