About the Role

At LUMICKS, we're revolutionizing cell-cell interaction and single-molecule research, and we need your expertise to help us push boundaries even further. We're seeking a talented Project Manager to join our innovative team in Amsterdam.

Your Mission

You'll be playing a key role in securing the timely introduction of new products and/or crucial improvements to our existing products.

Your Impact

Your work will enable our cross-functional teams to work effectively and to deliver on our product release roadmap with the right balance between time, budget and quality.

Location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business & customer value of the projects you manage and organize the work in such a way that project success is secured
• Pro-actively manage project risks, dependencies and constraints to create a realistic project plan and deliver as promised
• Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls

Skills and Competences

• High degree of ownership
• Systematic way of working to drive down risk and uncertainties step-by-step
• Team leadership and communication skills to effectively interface with cross-functional engineering teams, and stakeholders across all organizational levels.
• Negotiation skills to effectively interface with external parties
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills and analytical ability
• Helicopter view to see the bigger picture of your projects and effectively switch between daily execution and delivering on the overall goal
• Experience with NPI projects and/or design transfer to production

Requirements

• Education leve : BSc or MSc degree in Physics, Mechanical, Engineering, or similar technical field.

• Years of experience: At least 5 years of working experience in industry of which at least 2 years in a project management role.

• Language skills: Fluency in English required; Dutch language skills are a plus.
