Job Description

Reporting to the Pierrelatte Branch Director, you will work on projects for CEA, ORANO, or EDF, involving modifications to nuclear facilities in operation, in strict compliance with nuclear safety culture.

You will be based at our Pierrelatte workshop, with regular visits to Donzère and occasional travel across the Rhône-Alpes region as needed.

You will collaborate with various internal departments, including our Villeurbanne office (quality, modifications, etc.).

Projects in the nuclear sector include the design, fabrication, and assembly of boiler-making structures, piping systems, supports, and the installation of subcontracted equipment and instrumentation.

Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the preparation of technical and financial proposals
  • Monitoring project budgets, consolidated financial reporting, and contractual follow-up
  • Managing intervention schedules and tracking progress
  • Preparing and submitting additional work proposals
  • Participating in weekly meetings with the client (EDF Engineering and Site teams)
  • Updating progress indicators and reporting to management on Safety / Deadlines / Quality
  • Preparing internal and external specifications for project deliverables (studies, fabrication, site work, subcontracting)
  • Contributing to the definition of the industrial scheme
  • Ensuring proper application of project execution methods for each new contract
  • Participating in design reviews, detailed reviews, and equipment/material selection
  • Managing and tracking non-conformity reports and deviation notices
  • Organizing and monitoring internal study reviews (isometric drawings, plans, support documentation)
  • Communicating effectively with workshop and site teams

All these tasks must be carried out in full compliance with nuclear safety culture.

Qualifications

You hold a Master's degree in Engineering and have significant experience in project management; nuclear expertise would be a plus. You have at least 10 years of experience in a similar position.

You possess in-depth knowledge of systems and the specific technical and industrial challenges associated with these projects. Familiarity with standards, welding, and piping is essential to succeed in this role.

Your leadership skills enable you to unite your team and build constructive relationships with partners, clients, and suppliers. Strong organizational skills, agility, dynamism, and adaptability will also be key assets.

Regular travel will be required for this position.
