As a Technical Project Manager at PHIX, you thrive on ensuring that the projects commissioned by our customers are completed to their satisfaction. You relish the responsibility of achieving project goals and meticulously planning their execution. Ensuring the success of projects, both for our customers and our organization, is paramount to you. You excel in managing multiple projects and teams concurrently, composed of mechanical engineers, PCB layout engineers, photonic packaging engineers, and optical engineers. Your dedication to project management and your ability to lead diverse teams will be invaluable in driving the success of our projects and maintaining strong client relationships.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Managing customer projects and serving as the primary point of contact for PHIX.
2. Identifying critical aspects of product and process development to mitigate project risks.
3. Documenting relevant lessons learned and areas for continuous improvement.
4. Leading approximately five projects simultaneously for a single customer.
5. Facilitating effective communication between clients, teams, and colleagues, both internally and externally.
6. Ensuring comprehensive documentation in the project management tool (TW project).

• MSc. degree in Photonics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
• Minimum of 3 years experience in project management of product development or R&D projects
• Proficiency in applying Six Sigma in product development and process improvement
• Practical and pragmatic approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work independently with strong communication skills
• Excellent personal organization and proficiency in reporting and documentation

Languages

• Fluency in English
• Proficiency in Dutch or willingness to learn
