What to expect

The Project Manager will manage and lead projects end to end, working cross-functionally to deliver business solutions, ensuring that critical success factors are met while scope, time, quality, and cost are maintained. They will demonstrate strong senior stakeholder management skills to ensure communication is clear and concise, and deliverables are progressed, contributing towards overall programme and portfolio outcomes.

In addition, this role will support Category 1-3 Health and Safety activities, ensuring the successful delivery of an annual, rolling programme of works across branches and CViT locations. This includes projects related to Heating, Ventilation, Asbestos, Fire doors, Fire alarms, and fogging devices, maintaining compliance and safety standards throughout.

The Project Manager will embody a culture of inclusion, continuous improvement, and high performance, with a key focus on delivery.

What you'll need to succeed
• Knowledge of Health & Safety compliance, particularly Category 1-3 activities, including Heating, Ventilation, Asbestos, Fire doors, Fire alarms, and fogging devices.
• Experience managing rolling programmes of work across multiple sites or locations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt communication styles and collaborate cross-functionally to drive successful outcomes and business decisions.
• A trusted advisor with the ability to apply knowledge of their own specialism as well as knowledge of related areas.
• Commercial business acumen with the ability to make data-driven business decisions.
• Displays a passion for pursuing personal development opportunities and expanding industry knowledge.
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to upholding the values and principles of Post Office.
• An ambassador for promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within all areas of responsibility.
• Measurable experience of running change management projects in flexibility and within framework standards and timescales
• Strong budget management and funding knowledge
• Demonstratable project management experience and the ability to identify and mitigate risks
• Strong leadership and people management skills and experience
