To oversee all aspects of service delivery. To ensure the highest possible service is provided to all individuals supported, funders & partnership agencies.
The main body of the role would be the management of the 24 Hour Helpline. As Projects Manager for the Youth Homelessness Helpline, you will lead the delivery of an out-of-hours helpline supporting vulnerable individuals across Wales. This role involves overseeing the recruitment, training, and ongoing development of a dedicated volunteer team, as well as managing a 365-day rota and on-call schedule. You will be responsible for programming and maintaining the telephone system, managing payroll, and producing monthly monitoring and quarterly performance reports. Working in close partnership with Shelter Cymru and early intervention and prevention services, you will ensure seamless collaboration and service delivery. Additionally, you will drive the continued promotion and development of the helpline, attend events to recruit volunteers, and maintain high standards of operational efficiency and volunteer engagement.
In addition to this, you will be supporting teams to deliver Early Intervention and Homelessness Prevention Services to vulnerable individuals aged 14 to 25
