Main Purpose of The Role:
A senior role working within Information Security for the Constellation Automotive Group (CAG) as a Group InfoSec Project Manager, you will play a vital part in delivering our strategy to improve security maturity across the group, through the scoping and delivery of key projects.
The InfoSec Project Manager will be responsible for the scoping and delivery of multiple complex Projects within the InfoSec Initiative Portfolio. You will first focus on delivery of a security maturity programme for Marshall Motor Group. Occasional travel to our offices will be required, the key locations related to the role are located in London, Manchester, Hook, Birmingham and Milton Keynes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple InfoSec projects, ensuring delivery against agreed scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Develop and maintain project plans covering milestones, resources, risks, and dependencies.
- Conduct scoping workshops to define objectives and deliverables, ensuring alignment with the Target Operating Model (TOM) and recommending amendments as the programme evolves.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with stakeholders across business units and senior leadership, facilitating workshops and decision-making forums.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including scope, plans, RAID logs, and change requests, in line with governance standards.
- Establish and track KPIs and delivery metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Identify and manage risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies and escalating critical items where necessary.
- Conduct post-project reviews and lessons-learned sessions to improve processes and contribute to TOM refinement.
- Mentor junior project managers and team members, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Degree level education or equivalent experience (7+ years), ideally in cyber security, technology, computing, Project Management, or a related field. Master's degree or MSP / Scaled Agile preferred.
- Appropriate IT and Project Management certifications such as PRINCE 2, PMP, ITIL, Agile/SCRUM.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Understanding of Information Security Principles and Controls
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong commitment to driving results and achieving success.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple programmes simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and solve complex program-related issues.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
