Are you confident managing contractors, consultants and suppliers to keep work moving?

...then we want to hear from you!

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and drive the successful planning, execution, and delivery of key projects across a variety of areas within our Built Environment and Property team. These projects will range from construction and technical upgrades to data projects and process improvements.

You will collaborate closely with the Head of Built Environment to ensure that all projects align with our sustainability goals, are completed on time, and deliver maximum impact. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role that requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across diverse project types.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diverse Project Oversight: Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of projects across our Built Environment and Property team, spanning construction, technical upgrade/retrofit, data, and process initiatives.
  • Full Lifecycle Management: Lead every phase of project delivery, from design and planning to implementation and evaluation to ensure alignment with company objectives and timelines.
  • Planning, Leases & Listed Building Expertise: Utilise in-depth knowledge of planning permissions and listed building regulations to support strategic property planning and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Business Case Development: Create business cases in line with re-aligned P&L for individual properties to justify resource allocation, secure project funding, and support proposal approval.
  • Acquisition and Disposal: Oversee asset acquisition and disposal processes to ensure optimal management of resources in line with project goals.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Track project and portfolio impact KPI's, project progress, budgets, schedules, and deliverables, providing regular updates to stakeholders and ensuring projects and wider portfolio aims stay on track.
  • Long-term Property Maintenance Planning: Create and drive 15-year property maintenance plans and set forward forecast budgets.
  • Marketing and Sales Support: Contribute insights to marketing efforts, such as holiday lets to align projects with customer needs and overall business objectives.
  • Process Improvement Initiatives: Lead targeted projects to enhance internal processes and workflows, boosting overall organisational efficiency.
  • Commercial Lease Management & Legal Support: Manage, negotiate, and administer commercial leases, including rent reviews and renewals while providing legal support and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and lease terms.

About You:
  • Organised and Structured: You excel in managing diverse projects, including construction, technical upgrades, and data-driven initiatives, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met for all types of projects.
  • Strategic Thinker: You have the ability to see the bigger picture and balance high-level goals with attention to detail, ensuring that both short-term objectives and long-term outcomes are aligned.
  • Adaptable and Resilient: You thrive in dynamic environments and are capable of pivoting between project types, quickly adapting to changing priorities or new challenges.
  • Collaborative Leader: You are a strong communicator and work well with a variety of teams, from technical experts to external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and taking ownership of project challenges.
  • Problem-Solver: You approach challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset, handling issues efficiently and keeping projects on track.
  • Fast Learner: You quickly grasp new concepts, whether it's a new data system or a process improvement, adapting your approach to maximise project success.
  • Experienced Project Manager: You have a proven track record in managing a wide range of projects, from construction to process improvements and technical upgrades.
  • Attention to Detail/thoroughness in task completion: You have the ability to produce precise and error-free work, together with the ability to complete tasks with a high degree of thoroughness and care, recognising that even small improvements and marginal gains can lead to significant overall success.
  • Certifications: You hold relevant certifications in project management (PRINCE2, PMP, RICS or equivalent) and are proficient in project management tools and software.

This is an exciting and critical role within our team, ideal for a Project Manager with diverse project experience. Whether working on construction, data, or process improvement projects, you will play a key part in helping us achieve excellence across all areas.

If you are proactive, adaptable, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you.
