Job Description

Salesforce Project Manager.

Salary: £44,250 per annum.

Location: Homebased. Must be Located permanently in the UK and be willing to travel as needed to any part of the UK.

Contract: Fixed Term Contract -13 months, 35 hours per week.

A bit about the role

We are seeking a Salesforce Project Manager to deliver a new Children's Recording System and decommissioning an end-of-life platform (on-prem). You will oversee end-to-end delivery, ensuring the new system meets operational needs and improves outcomes for children and families.

This role will be within the Technology Department, working with a cross organisational Project Team to deliver this solution.

This is a fully remote role, mostly working with teams of people who are also remotely based. There may be some travel required as part of this role for either departmental needs or to successfully deliver the project. It is essential though that you are happy and able to work from home. The Technology department meets in Watford & Central London, so travel to these location will be needed on a semi frequent basis.

Technology Project delivery within the Third Sector, or regional government is essential for this role and must be clearly demonstrated in your covering letter and CV.

How you'll help to create brighter futures
  • Delivery of full the full project lifecycle from planning to implementation, to time, cost and quality parameters, including all relevant products and timescales for their delivery
  • Ability to set up and lead project governance boards and working groups.
  • Engage, direct and support stakeholder involvement to participate and to enable achievement of project deliverables.
  • Engage and work with Business Change and Business Analysts to ensure the realisation of benefits during the project lifecycle.
  • Have good analytical skills.
  • Manage project closure and handover to business as usual in a controlled way.
  • Produce timely and relevant reports for the key stakeholders and the project steering group.
  • Effectively manage project risks, issues and dependencies using appropriate project management techniques that adhere to Prince2 project management methodology.
  • Professional representation of the department and in so doing, support the process of change to key stakeholders.
  • Use of our Project Management Software to control the project throughout its life cycle. We use Mission Control, if you have experience of this software that would be beneficial.

Let's talk about you
  • Experience of Project Management delivery within the third sector or local government setting is essential.
  • Salesforce Ecosystem Project Management experience is desirable but not essential
  • You will have experience of delivering technology projects, with a focus on infrastructure, operations, IT Security & Applications.
  • Proven experience delivering technology development projects, end-to-end, through the project lifecycle.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with case management systems.
  • Experience of the voluntary, not-for-profit or public sector.
  • Knowledge of data migration, integration, and change management.
  • Project Management qualification - Prince2 Foundation or higher.
  • Happy to lead meetings, present work up to C-Suite.
  • Willing to manage remote project teams and stakeholders and deliver projects in this way.
  • Experience of business analysis, process mapping and re-engineering.
  • Experience of delivering projects outputs and benefits through to realisation.
  • Understanding what good design, development and testing looks like to enable robust discussions with technology resources and suppliers on the project.
