General ManagementAbout the Company
Evalan is an innovation company based in the Netherlands. Evalan develops, markets and sells services that use state-of-the-art communications technology, with focus on remote monitoring and "Internet of Things" solutions. To support the delivery of these services, Evalan develops mobile devices and sensor units, data management systems, data processing algorithms and user interfaces on various platforms. Some of these services have been spun off into focused start-up companies. Evalan works in cooperation with international technology partners and universities, and executes projects for industrial companies, hospitals and research organizations. Trade names of Evalan's products are Wattmaestro, ARMOR, BACE, DISDRO and, SmartEagle.
About the Role
Evalan is looking for a 'Senior Project Manager' to join our team in Amsterdam. In this role you will manage a team of project & product managers and coordinate a diverse portfolio of 'Internet of Things' (IoT) projects, ranging from pilots to complete turn-key deliveries of complex IoT systems. Our clients are large corporations, departments of the government, small and medium size companies and start-ups. This means that each project has its own characteristics, targets and objectives. In each of the projects your team will focus on planning, budget, quality and delivery of our objectives, and will work closely with internal and external stakeholders. Some of these projects are executed in cooperation with partner companies. Your responsibilities will include representing Evalan in some of these collaborations and managing the relationships with these partners. Evalan delivers end-to-end IoT solutions and runs a small production and assembly operation to support that. Depending on your interest and background, managing this team may be included in your responsibilities as well. Many of the IoT solutions we create have innovative first-of-its-kind elements. In many of our projects our challenges include translating these into practical implementations that can be scaled.
